河北经贸大学是河北省重点建设的骨干大学，是一所以经济学、管理学、法学为主，兼有文学、理学、工学和艺术学的多学科财经类大学。

学校始于1953年创办的河北省供销合作社石家庄合作学校，1995年由河北财经学院、河北经贸学院、河北商业高等专科学校合并组建而成。

截至2017年9月，学校占地2950余亩，绿化面积达40%以上，分为北、南、西三个校区办学，校本部设在北校区，主要举办本科、研究生和留学生教育，南、西校区为独立学院经济管理学院；设有15个本科学院、4个教学部（中心），开办60个本科专业；拥有9个学术学位一级学科硕士点、55个学术学位二级学科硕士点、12个专业硕士学位类别、3个河北省国家一流学科建设项目；2018年3月，新增4个专业硕士学位类别；共有全日制本科生、硕士研究生、留学生31600余名（含独立学院学生10160名），继续教育学员29600余名；有教职工1964人，其中专任教师1110人。

Hebei University of Economics and Business (HEBE) is one of the key universities under construction in Hebei Province. It is a multidisciplinary university of finance and economics, mainly focusing on economics, management and law, as well as literature, science, engineering and art.

It was founded in 1953 as the Shijiazhuang Cooperative School of Supply and Marketing Cooperative of Hebei Province. In 1995, it was formed by the merger of Hebei Institute of Finance and Economics, Hebei Institute of Economics and Trade, and Hebei College of Commerce.

As of September 2017, the university covers an area of more than 2950 mu, with a green area of more than 40%. The university is divided into three campuses: North Campus, South Campus and West Campus. The main campus of the university is located in the North Campus, which mainly offers undergraduate, postgraduate and international students education. There are 15 undergraduate colleges, 4 teaching departments (centers), offering 60 undergraduate programs; There are 9 master&,39;s programs in the first-level disciplines, 55 master&,39;s programs in the second-level disciplines, 12 professional master&,39;s programs, and 3 national first-class discipline construction projects in Hebei Province. In March 2018, four new professional master&,39;s degree categories were added; There are more than 31,600 full-time undergraduates, master&,39;s degree students and international students (including 10,160 students from independent colleges), and more than 29,600 students of continuing education. There are 1,964 faculty members, including 1,110 full-time teachers.
